I heard it that Kyle had previously asked 'permission' from NASCAR and the track if he could smash the guitar in the event he won?? The answer was that they didn't have a problem with it. The report also went on to say that he was going to have a replica made for himself since he busted up the original for the crew..

Personally, if I was a crew member, I wouldn't want a busted up 'piece' of the trophy... I'd consider that almost an 'insult' as such... I'd rather just get a nice 'thanks' and a little extra in that weeks paycheck myself....

And then the little wuss couldn't even really bust up the guitar!! Took him a couple of whacks to even get a piece to break off.... So, someone later one is going to have to hack it up on a band saw or something and distribute it to the crew... How lame!

What a 'tool' he is!

Mitch

Mitch, have you ever tried to smash a solid body guitar such as a Les Paul? Not the easiest thing to do.

Shrub doesn't need to be good at busting up guitars. He's already an expert at busting up the competition.

It's agravating, I'm a Gordon boy, but man, Busch can be a big baby. At Hendrick he did not mesh well and now at JGR he is the big boy As Stealth said, we need him, but he is still an arrogant, little Bit*h that needs to work on his attitude. JR on the other hand, needs a whole team revamp as already stated. He's a good driver, but his team does not fit well with him.

Jr? As in Dale Jr? What has Junior ever proved?! Its his teams fault huh? Seems like all of Junior's season's have been his team's fault. Bottom line every single Sprint cup driver is the best of the best or they wouldn't be there.

I've only seen videos of others busting up guitars, so that's all I was going by... Maybe those were 'props' made to bust up easy?? I guess it's usually at the neck where they break too...

He's still a WUSS in my opinion!!

Wait 'til Danica starts driving NASCAR. I can't wait to hear the grown men crying 'cause a little girl whooped their ***.

I agree with you, I'm just saying it seems that there was always controvesry around him and Tony Jr. They have had agruements and then that didn't work out. I agree 1000% about the talent, as I said, he is a good driver. I just think he needs to be better equiped and if that doesn't work, there is a problem. Jr has not liven up to the hype, for whatever reason. He's a good guy and I want to see him win again, but it takes time and with his new team set-up, I think it may work. Give it time

Am I living under a rock or does Dale Jr. not drive for Hendrick now-a-days? I could be wrong but last i checked JJ has won 3 in a row, drives for hendrick and Gordon has had what 4 championships and all have came from Hendrick. Terry LaBonte won his championship with Hendrick and yada yada yada. Hendrick Motorsports is hands down the best equipment money can buy, and Jr. still can not preform. I know you have to gel with the Crew Chief and what not but wtf, when is enough for Jr. fans to finally realize he isn't nearly as good as his daddy? Jr. won his popularity from the late great Dale Sr., not because of his talent or driving skills.

BTW you have to give mad props to Stewart. Running your own team and still performing, now thats mad talent right there!
