Newbie to the site

Hi all

Just purchased a new (to me) '92 Flareside, 5.0/AOD 4wd. The little beastie has been sitting since '05 in an estate. For whatever reason, it ended up at the dealership where I work and sat for two weeks (while I was on vacation). I watched it for a week before asking the used car manager if it was for sale, and if so, could I buy it? The answers were yes and yes. So now I do

My intention is to convert it to MAF, give it the TLC it needs, then enjoy it! Being a hot rodder, there may be some upgrades to the engine and trans but it ain't gonna be an off-roader. Neither will it be a show truck

I'll be frequenting this place often for ideas and how-to's

Seeya...

Lee welcome to the site, pics are always welcome

when it's time to rebuild you have a slew of performance parts to help you out without going to the 351 block unless you want to

Ok, here's a couple of pics of my ride;

as you can see, its' got no tailgate. Need to find one! Also, here's a problem that needs to be addressed soon:

the l/front hub needs fixing. Not sure if I can change to manual hubs. Can someone offer some suggestions? Thanks
