As previously stated the main thing is to just keep yourself busy and mod your truck. It's working for me.

 

I was in a relationship for two years, then straight in to another for two years and straight in to another for four years. Now, I'm enjoying the time to myself. The thing I miss most while in a relationship is the peace and quiet. I like to just sit and relax, watch tv, without talking. Why do women always want to talk. It's always "we don't talk anymore." No crap, we see each other everyday. We know what each other does everyday. There is nothing to talk about. I hate small talk. "How was your day?" It was just like yesterday. I got up, went to work, dealt with stupid people all day, and now I'm home where I'd like to relax and not have to talk about it... again.

Now, I work, come home, shower and relax. Do it all over again. It's actually a pretty good deal. No nagging, bitching, complaining, whining, or tripping over other peoples crap because they're too lazy to clean anything. The best thing is I can spend as much time with my truck as I want to and not have to hear it from anyone.

Enjoy it man! It won't always be there to enjoy.

 

i agree... nothing worse than the chicks who wont shut up. i took this woman out a few weeks back and she would not shut up thru the entire dinner.. i felt like stabbing myself in the eye with my fork.

 

if you're handy, get a project truck/boat/fourwheeler or something that is old, and worn out, and fix it up to make it like new.... sure wastes a lot of time ,and you have something fun when you're done.

 

Yea I thought about a project but I haven't pulled the trigger on anything quite yet. I do enjoy the quiet and I don't have to be forcefully lovey. After work I enjoy relaxing and sometimes just setting down to a video game to forget the days work. I am saving on gas now and dinner bills.

 

dinner bills... that used to drive me nuts. The last girlfriend would order something above average off the menu. I'm not cheap or stingy so I'm fine with that. However, what I'm not fine with is taking 3 bites of a $20 meal to which I didn't really want to go out for in the first place and then saying you're full or don't feel good or it's not cooked right. It wouldn't even be a big deal if she would just take it home and eat it later, for dinner the next day or something, but nooooo, it just sits in the refrigerator until it's no good. Usually seafood of some sort so I won't even touch the stuff.

Anyway, rock on man and live it up. Grab a friend or five and go to Hooters or something. That's a good way to kill some time. It worked for me the other night.

Yea Im not cheap or nothing, and she wouldn't order anything expensive. In no way am I saying I didn't enjoy taking her out to dinner. But now that I'm single, I don't go to olive garden or out for mexican food on my own, so It'll save me money which is always good.

Me and some buddies went to San Felipes and Cadillac Ranch last night. They are like club / bars with some hot *** waitresses. I had a rum and coke at San Felipes but then discovered Jägerbombs. I never had one but after drinking 3, I was quite the drunk. The rum and coke I got was a little glass, but when I went and got the Jägerbombs it was in a normal size glass filled 3/4 the way up.

Anyway good times! Now I'm off to the shop to see if I can't get my injectors and MAF and tune straighten out!

 

Hmmm...I've been single for a year and a half and its killing me. Finding a new girl is on the top of the list when I move to Tallahassee...

well i know you live right up the street from me, and me and my friends(some from here) go out quite often but not out to bars always, monday nights we go bowling and every once in a while we shoot some pool and even poker at my place, and of course firebird isnt far...i believe you have my number if not pm me

Work on your truck and get a dog, thats what I did.. it will keep you busy.

 

Place was ok, kinda small and to crowded. I really liked Cadillac Ranch though. Id go back to either.

Texas hold-em? If so count me in man! My trucks down for a while so I've been driving my boss's off roading jeep.

Truck is down because I'm getting the tuning software and tune worked on, it will take some time. Ignore the window motor, thats for a mustang not my truck.
