Post Driving Music

I want to burn a few cd's for when i am cruising around this summer. I need all the car related songs you guys can think of, preferably songs that mention fords of course.

A good one is ZZTop - Nationwide "I was movin down the road in my V8 Ford..."

I also have Hot Rod Lincoln and Mustang Sally, any others?

BTW. I prefer Rock music so don't even mention something like "cruisen in my 5.0" by Vanilla Ice!

Cool

Hey Ford4ever,
I don't know how heavy you like to go but how about "Black Sunshine" by White Zombie!! Great cruisin song!! "He grips the wheel, his knuckles run white with desire, the wheels of his MUSTANG exploding on the highway like a slug from a 45. True Death. 400 horsepower maximum performance, piercing the night. This is Black Sunshine!!!" Makes the miles fly by.

Have you ever heard any of Orgy's music? I think that it is what you are looking for. Mainly track 7 of their first disk. If it doesn't get your blood pumping nothing will.

Talking

I always thought that Christopher Cross "Ride Like the Wind" was a good cruisin song. And that CD is crystal clear, you can turn it all the way up and it sounds great.

Vanilla Ice said "Rolling in my 5.0" not "Cruisin in my 5.0" however the song it is based on is pretty good "Under Pressure" by Queen and David Bowie

Here are some good, not necessarily car related cruisin songs that I listen to on trips.

"A Murder of One" Counting Crows
"Angels of the Silences" Counting Crows
"Einstien on the Beach" Counting Crows
"You Only Get What you Give" New Radicals
"Shiny, Happy People" R.E.M.
"Watch the World Die" Everclear
"One" Metallica
"Wonderful" Everclear
"Everybody Wants to Rule the World" Tears for Fears
"Smells Like Teen Spirit" Nirvana
"Jeremy" Pearl Jam
"Ants Marching" Dave Matthews Band

Just some songs that make the mile markers go by quicker on INterstate trips.

Cool

Meatloaf's "Paradise By The Dashboard Lights" or just about anything from "Bat Out Of Hell"!

When I travel it's always Rock 'N' Roll . . .
