I would buy dodge. All the others look like wimps but dodge has the mean, I'm gonna eat you up look.

Automatic, Reg. cab, 3.55LS, tinted windows, bug deflector, Dual exhaust, K&N Generation 2 air filter, BullDog keyless entry/remote start, Modern 16" wheels, bedliner, Covercraft tonneau cover, White faced gauges, electronic shift on the fly, Clarion ADX5655z Double Din Cassette & CD, 4 Pioneer TS-A6865 speakers and superchip. Going to add headers.

Future mods: Supercharger, headers, NOS, tranny upgrade(heavy duty gears, clutch packs, etc.), performance torque converter, bore engine 30 over, new pistons, crank, and rods, performance heads, new L if they still make them and I like the way it looks, and a Z06 Vette or BMW Z3.

I would get a tundra. Although its not as big as an F-150, toyota has the reputation for making vehicles that last (i used to own a 4runner, that thing was the best SUV ive ever owned). But no way would i buy mopar.

Well I probably wouldn't buy any new truck. The new chevys are having major driveline problems. Specifically their new Allsion isn't all its cracked up to be. I've also heard some problems with with new duramax as well. As for Dodge thier 4x4 setup on the 94 and newer is pretty nasty. A 4 link coil-over suspension just gives me the shudders. The did use dana axles, I will give them that, but they messed the front one up. The short shaft in it is always spinning even when not engaged. So this obviously wears them out pretty quick. I won't even go into thier engines, but the only one that I would consider is the Cummins diesel.

If I had to drive a newer truck I would drive a Dodge but I would have to do some work to it. It would have to be a 1 ton 4x4 with a Cummins and a 5spd trans. (The MV4500 is a very good trans so I'll give Dodge that too) But I would have to pull the front axle out and convert it to a leaf sprung front axle (most likely if I convert to leaf springs I would have a custom frame made) and then mate an NP205 transfer case to the MV4500 trans and run a standard dana 60 axle out front, and leave the stock rear dana 70 out back.

Any of the small trucks are well.....Small trucks
IMHO there shouldn't be any truck made smaller than a 1/2 ton.

{b]It's a toss up between Tundra or RAM. I know 1 thing for sure - Id never buy GM or Chevy anyhing. I just hate the looks as well as the mechanics of all their vehicles, including the Vette![/b]
