here in Cali we cant talk on the cell phone while we are driving. i got pulled over about a month ago and the ticket was $130 bucks, 5$ extra to pay it online. biggest waste of money. luckily its just a moving violation..

Here in Louisiana, they treat a No Seat Belt like a DUI. The fine gets higher the more you get. And they are watching for people drive while on the cell phone that is not hands free. I heard all states are going to it. I might be wrong, but IMO, I think they should. I was run off I-20 the other day, because some guy was trying to dial a number on his cell phone.

5% in back 5% eyebrow and 35% front(legal). That is the first one I have gotten, and I have no idea how he could tell I didn't have it on.

But you are allowed to dial while you drive, right? Just as long as you talk hands free. I think I read in article about it in the LA Times. It said that texting was illegal too only if you send the text, but you can type it out and just not send it, legally. Seems silly to me...

Nope. If it's in your hands, and you are using it, then there's a ticket. That's why I have a Avic D3 with a BTB-200 in my truck. It's hands free. I don't do much texting anyway. I don't see the point. That's just something you have to pay for every month.

I got one in Lake Co last year on Memorial day. It was only $55. I put it in the mailbox yesterday. Sorry Sally Coffelt. It's only 355 days late.

I know that here in Missouri they can give you a ticket for not having it on, but they can't pull you over for it. Kind of stupid if you ask my.

Trucks are considered a "farm vehicle" so seatbelts are not required in GA. But it's just been a habit for so long, I wear mine all the time.

Here in georgia you have to be jumping on the roof, drinking a beer, shooting people while driving down the road to get pulled over.
