Thanks, it feels pretty good to know that I am done with school for awhile. Going to be headed down to Nick's cabin for Memorial Day to hangout with the guys, boating, and shoot some guns. It will be the last hoorah!!

Physics is the devil. Calculus blows. Don't get down if you have to repeat one of those classes.

ive already taken one year of calculus, it wasnt that bad. i actually enjoyed it towards the end when we were doing integrals. but im probably going to just take calc 1 in the fall to get a better grasp, instead of transferring the credit.

physics is going to be interesting though.

Learn to drink heavily

Seriously though, the best advice I can give is to attend all your classes!!

It seems like a no brainer, but it's easy to miss one class, then another, then one more and before you know it you end up too far behind to ever really catch up. Calcs 2 and 3 suck, Dif EQs sucks a little less, I didn't find the physics too bad, Thermo 1 & 2 give alot of people problems but I enjoyed them... Each semester will seem harder than the previous, but if you work smart and hard, you'll manage.

i guess i can check that one off the list. i spent every weekend of my senior year learning my limits when it comes to drinking. 15 beers is my sweet spot.

thanks for the other advice.

Yeah, like Zaairman said all the calcs suck. Also do not slack on the easy classes. Just becuase they are easy and you are guaranteed to pass, don't just get a passing grade. Spend the extra time to get the A and bump up your GPA. Heat transfer is the most dreaded class at my college. The class no one tells you about that is really hard is Controls. Not only was the class hard, but the teacher was horrible. I'll attatch the letter he emailed us at the end of the semester. I can't complain too much since he bumped up grades, but I still wanted to. Over 60% of the class points were unaccounted for until the final week.

Here's the letter:

Dear Class,

Your grades, including final letter grades, are posted. The high on the final was 84, the median was 60, and the low was 0. Final project presentation group scores ranged from 80 to 95. The project grade shown on blackboard is your combined score including midterm and final presentation and peer evaluations.

The final grades in the class were curved by roughly a letter grade. Despite the fact that you guys can't model your way out of a paper bag and all of you Joe Technicianed your project controller design, I'm happy to say that most of you have passed the course. Please do not go out into industry and kill anyone.

If you have any questions about your grades or would like to see your exam, please email me or stop by.

Have a happy holiday.
Best,
D. Bristow
