This is great from an environment standpoint as we're doing better by not consuming as much oil/gas when doing this. But from an economics standpoint, how much did the 2001 4 cyl nissan frontier cost you? (ie. Lets say you're saving $125 per month on gas) How many months of gas savings will it take for you to break even on the purchase of the nissan?

$3.27 for 87 here, and I'm not complaining too much - I simply drive smart and combine trips whenever possible. Truck is paid for and getting something more economical would be too long a payback.

Dear God F150Europe, the US would come to a grinding halt if prices got that high. There are many jobs where you'd be better off not having a job and going to work as it'd cost you more to get to work and back then you would make that particular day.

$3.34 was the lowest price I saw around here today...
I remember not too long ago when I found gas for $0.77 a gallon in Georgia.....is 8 years a long time ago?
I just watched "I Am Legend" a few nights ago. I recall the opening of the movie had a scene of a gas station sign that has gas at $6.something a gallon. I laughed...

Paid $1.37 a litre for 94
Well my truck gets 190 miles to the tank, one tank a week.
About 9-9.5 miles to the gallon, if I take it easy.

In Cary, NC the gas is as low as $1.28 and as high as $1.45 a gallon.

The oil companies are going to screw us again and raise up the price of gas for the summer months again!

This is a cool thread. In 2001 we were bitchin about $1.45. Now i'd be happy with $2.75

Well I finally broke the $120 per tank mark yesterday....it wasn't as thrilling as I thought it was going to be. I figured the station would at least give me a prize. they should at least offer free KY and the pumps.

reg. $3.65/gal
mid. $3.75/gal
pre. $3.85/gal

Good news is that the wifles 2006 Accord with a 4 banger got 34mpg on our trip to North Carolina and back even through the mountains. It usually gets 27-32 in town....who needs that hybrid crap when a decent 4 cyl. gets in the 30's all day long When I took the truck the Bristol race it only got 15mpg, damn hills(not that running 80mph helped either)

I filled up the Mustang at Sunoco and the 94 was $1.35/litre ($5.08 per gallon.)

Hey, those are like my gears. Maybe if I buy that gas I'll get some more magic mileage?!

We're at around $3.45 here so far... prices keep going up every day. Last time I filled my tank it cost around 85 bucks.
