Mr 98Navi, What you've just posted is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever seen. At no point in your rambling, incoherent video were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this thread is now dumber for having watched it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Yeah, I still would. Can't people get a decent job on their own merits rather than relying on who they're related to?
you would hate me

No, I wouldn't hate you, I'd just have less initial respect for you, that's all.

I feel that people should have to at least try to make it on their own. Working for the family business just because you're guaranteed a job and special treatment seems like taking the easy way out, so I understand why people do it. I've got a good friend who I went to college with who's working for his father. Hopefully their business will survive this current economy, they've already gone from maybe 15 employees down to 5 or so. His dad will be fine either way, he's put enough away over the years, but I don't know what else my friend would do.

Both my parents are self-employed, I just have no interest in their work.

They recruited me, I didn't even live in the same state when they decided to open it, so I don't call that dependancy.

Why don't you tell me how you really feel? And, insane idiots like johnny knoxville, do you award them any points? Seems people reward them with cash money

And, I had no intent of working for my parents. I actually don't anymore, My Dads a Senior VP at a fortune 500 company. I run the place. This was just something meant to be funny that a couple azzzholes made dumb comments about. A one finger salute to them!

You can apply for the six figure car wash job with great benefits when your mega-rich daddy buys one as a speculative investment, and 'recruits' you from out of state so that you will move back home.

Once you cross a state line to do what your parents want, you are not really working for them or dependent on them.

Hey, it's a tough gig, but if you screw the pooch, you'll still inherit a boat load! So break out the video cam and dazzle the world!

woo hoo, only two pages for him to flont his salaries and bonuses!!!! I think thats a record!!!!

Honestly, I dont give two chits what you make. I can and am living a happy wonderful life making less than 6 figures. I dont need money to be happy. I work my butt off, enjoy my job working 8-5 with bank hours and bank holidays and being able to afford my truck and to have a good time here and there. I dont brag to people of my benefits or my money, because it means nothing in life. It just make you look and sound like a tool. You enjoy your money and working at mom and dads carwash that you fell into.

I will stick to my 35K a year job and not being a *****.

LOL, people always think its a cake walk......then you get the 7 day work week, nights, weekends, emergency calls, they even called me when I was on vacation in mexico to aid in a repair over the phone. There is no such thing as an offday with my job. My parent don't even work there, its me, me and oh yea, me. Speculative investments don't last over 8 years either. And if we were mega rich, i'd have more time to post and play golf, and spend less time busting my ****

It's not a cakewalk, but you have time to video tape your employees horsing around and acting like jack asses? I've had some cakewalk jobs in my youth, but never one where that kind of foolishness was tolerated. At least you run a tight ship...

I'll bet your investors/parents would be happier to see a video of you negotiating a big discount on your car wash's utility bill because most of your energy usage is off of peak hours. Or instead of video taping, maybe you could be on the phone negotiating a discount on supplies so that you can improve your parent's return on their investment. Pull a few good deals and maybe you can speed up the clock on your eventual retirement playing golf.

BTW, if you are management and get six figures + benefits, you have responsibility. That means taking the occasional emergency call no matter what the job was. Don't like it? There's a few million people in this country that would happily take your job and that call. Guess your parent's forgot to interview any of them...

Your parents don't have to work at the car wash because their capital is working for them. That's capital that they could be using for something else besides buying you a job.

And you say speculative investments can't last 8 years? Really? Why not? Do they always last more or less than that? I'm so confused...I thought the holding period was up to the investor. Some last 8 months, some last 80 years. Why not 8 years?

Im neither jealous nor envious of you. Your exact attitude and demeanor towards others is exact proof as to why.

If being jealous means I want to be a ***** to others just for the fact that I manage mommy and daddys car wash, with a 30 something as a employee (yes that is a fail no matter how you sugar coat it), then no, not jealous.

You have to be a 30Kmilli, with out a doubt
