MAn, I went to Destin a few years ago with my family. If anyone elses here plays golf, that is the place you want to go. It's great!

Actually, my Mom bought a 'resort' house ans made it a year round home, so that means we can rent a house by her when we visit.
My Sis and her family are going, so she offered to send me down on the big silver bird too.
She lives in Eagan MN (by St Paul) Our planes are to meet up in Memphis Tenn. where we will then board the same plane, and make the rest of the trip together.
I abhor golf, but we will be on the ocean so I will be getting wet and dark for four days.
My Sis will be there a week, but I have to pay someone to do my Job, and thats all I could afford to be off.
Heck, maybe thats as long as I can stand to be that close to the family anyway.
Four days without the Internet, How will I stand it?
Before you even think of how to occupie some off-line time, no man either.
But the REALLY bad part? Four days without my Truck!!!!!!

Grew up down there in the early 70's...well...started to grow up...near Fort Walton Beach. 1974 Graduate of Niceville HS, in Niceville FL, just across the Bay from Destin. Spent time out on Destin dive/spear fishing for Flounder, King Mackeral, Dolphin (the fish)and Cobia fishing and working on the crews building some of the first big resort Condo's out there. Never been back. Hear it's a different world now. Guess I need to make a pilgramige some day. Ahhh, the memories...
