Talking My New F-150!

First off, thanks to all the folks who post on this board for giving me a TON of helpful info. Couldn't have done it without y'all. Gave me a lot of confidence, even though it turned out I wasn't the only girl (OK, ol' girl:~)) there buying truck a truck that day....

My new baby is just what I wanted---took a bit of looking, but I couldn't have managed a better match if I'd ordered the little cutie: F-150 XLT extended cab, 4.6 V8 automatic, limited slip with 3.55 axle, oxford white for the broiling So Cal summers, and some towing stuff I may never use but is there just in case.... and, thanks to you folks, I have a mind FULL of future mods;~) I may even have to come up with a signature....

Got a great deal, too. I'll post a tad more info under in the Dealers Forum.

It was pouring rain when I picked the truck up yesterday, and seeing as how it's my first truck I was a little worried about the difference in handling and having to drive home through the bad rain and awful traffic---but the truck handled like a dream. All I want to do now is drive around, and think about mods: anti-sway bars... brush guard.... Snugtop cap.... this filter? That filter? I LOVE MY TRUCK!!!!!

Thanks again for ALL your help~

Good Pups

Congratulations on your truck! I'm glad you love it as much as the rest of us love ours. Good idea getting white for the heat. I didn't pick it but I have black & with all the snow we get it helps my truck to stand out when the snow is falling. And falling. AND FALLING!
Stop by chat some nite - we're there every nite around 9PM EST. From 1 ol' girl to another it would be nice to have company there - the guys are great but sometimes I feel outnumbered. Actually I AM outnumbered every nite! Come help me out! Besides, the guys have done nearly every mod there is & they can give you advice & comments.
Take care - hope to chat with you soon! Bye!
