There is great information regarding the trucks and that is what is good. There are some other aspects that need to be rethought. Ive seen many people that offer great advice leave/suspended/banned because of simple discrepancies. Some situations were understandable and they deserved to be punished. Other not so much where the ban hammer was swung full force because they did not feel like dealing with them any longer. There has to be more to a forum that just straight information. If people wanted just information with no entertainment they would read the manual...
The manual does not cover everything the site does, get real. Those you speak of enjoy adifferent type of entertainment than this site wishes to support. It's that simple.

Name one member that was a great contributor and was permanently banned. Lastly, you are posting negativly in a thread that was started for positive comments.

I enjoy the diplomacy and tolerance displayed by the mods. I probably would have posted a response like " Don't let the door...".

Other than that this place is starting to drop off the wagon and heading down hill fast.
Can I get a AMEN????

Nope, the amens are not aloud here

Trust me, some of the "other" sites are even much more **** than this......most of us would'nt last very long without a mod screaming down your neck.

This site has made my wife wonder if I love my truck more than I love her

Lots of awesome mod ideas here and very informative when it comes to anything mechanical. Good peeps here too.

I think it is funny how relative newbies proclaim the site is going downhill.

I still see the same type of help available to all members that was here in 01 when I joined. People helping people they never met. I see some changes in the membership like young guys that want to use the site for their own purposes or that are ungrateful when they get help. Or guys that feel they can hide behind their keyboards and be rude or insulting to people they never met. The site isn't going downhill but the quality of the membership may have. You can't blame the site for the actions of the playground gang though. The mods have a tough job and will never make everyone happy.
If you look at the overall purpose of the site it has not gone downhill at all.

I like this site cause I can always find the answer I'm looking for.
That and it keeps me occupied while I'm "working".

This was the first forum I'd ever been on. Probably because if you Google any question about an F-150, a link to this site usually shows up.

I've dabbled in a few different forums recently. But now I find that I only go to those forums to look for updates to their "HOT CHICKS" threads since their not allowed here.

And that doesn't bother me at all. Its amazing how much some people can complain about a great site that is free.

Oh, some great people on this site too. I never thought I'd have "internet friends".

Its the hypocricy that bothers me. They say keep it pg-13 and most people cant get away with pg-13. If I recall I hear ****, damn , bitch , in many pg13 movies. Harry potter is pg13 for gods sake. In pg13 movies you can even get away with one f word. I agree with the fact that we shouldnt use some of that language here. But when you can post chit and azz, but cant have a picture with the word **** in it, it starts getting annoying.

Yeah, I can see your point there. PG-13 should be more clearly defined but again the mods are human and they are trying to keep IB happy. None of us are perfect and human nature takes over now and again.
