Actually, my Accord was THE best car I've ever owned. My truck is the best truck I've ever owned. I have nothing against Honda. In fact, I would own another one any day...just as long as I can keep my truck

I sold my '94 Mustang GT outright to a 19 year old to buy my truck. I sold it in '98 for $12,500 and only owed $7500.

I still miss the car at times but I do not miss spending $1000 every 30,000 miles on new tires!!

Turned in a leased 97 Explorer. Walked away from the dealer with 2 vehicles due to the great deal they gave us for 2 at once purchase

Got my 00 F150 and wife got her 00 Focus station wagon. Replacement for her yr old car she totalled in freak NC snow last year. Good for the next year then will look for something else like she always does or wrecks this one.

3.9% on both and total monthly payments are less than the Explorer lease we turned in

I traded my 96 Mustang GT in for my Truck because I wanted something different after 3 Mustangs in a row that was rear wheel drive V8 powered made by FORD and only had 2 doors. Plus with all the trucks on the roads now days I feel safer in this truck then I would in a small car like a Mustang.

After owning several Fords I traded in a 2 year old 97 F150 supercab w/ 50k
miles on it. All I ever did to it was routine maintenance. It was ran flawless.

Jan '99, Although knowing better I purchased

Couldn't keep the Z71 out of the shop and on July 2000 when warranty
was about to expire I ordered my Screw and sold the chevy!!
Fords are so much more solid. I am not going to mention the Dodge truck I had for one year in 96.

kclm7,
The GTP is a '99, and I still have it. No, I haven't been to GP-owners.com. I look at http://www.grandprix.net/ once and awhile. I used to go there more before getting the Screw and finding this site. Lil' GO drives the GTP most of the time. She wanted it, and I have grown to like it, especially the supercharger part of it. She didn't like any of the Ford sedans out then. Although I'm True Blue Oval, it's true, Ford doesn't have a sport sedan since the Taurus SHO went away.

You should check out Gp-owners.com sometime. It's a BB like this one except for GP's. Have you done any mods to your GTP?? I've done a few to mine. My favorite mods are the Borla Exhaust and cold air intake. Talk to you later,

Steve

P.S. I agree that Ford doesn't have squat for cars other than the Crown Vic, IMO....

Only mod is a K&N drop in filter. I would do more, but Lil' GO is happy with it as it is. She likes the Go-Fast feeling, but is not enamored with it like I am. I want an L someday to really live out my Burn-Rubber dreams.

Traded a 96 Mustang GT for my 98 S/C for much the same reason as GO 4D IT. It's a pain putting a baby seat in the back of a Mustang, and the wife had a two door at the time as well.
