My truck is going to get a complete repaint , I was wondering has any body done a blue pearl , or a grey pearl over dark shadow grey?

Pearl paint jobs are the best, they just give a look unlike the rest.
I don't know the answers to what your asking, but what is strange about it to me, is how they used the red mica in the clear coat to get the purple reflection. Strange huh. The best thing to do, is to find a good painter and talk to him. If he can't answer your questions throughly enough go to another painter.
IMO on a truck the color of yours would be to add some mica flames on the front. People would always have to take a second look , to see if what they saw was really there. But pearl always make them look twice.

I had green pearl on black paint with a clear coat on a motorcycle. That looked black but shone green. Got a lot of looks with that bike. I only heard of grey pearl yesterday on the net. So now I am wondering, what I can do with my repaint.

Actually we did a custom job on my friends show truck.
Cobalt blue over mineral grey with a blue pearl cover.
Looked outstanding and won first place at Texas Showdown....
