Post Farewell to DW

Watching the last Nascar race for DW before he brings his mouth to the announcer booth. It was fun watching him through the years.

Nascar fans, what Ford driver do you follow? Happy to see any Ford win, but like to see the 6 car take it on Sunday; the wife likes the 2. Mark Martin will get a rise next year from Viagra, so maybe he'll do better.

Cool

I was happy to see DW finish the race, he was great for the sport in his car, and I think he will continue to be great in the booth. It is sad to see ESPN go, they took the risk to bring NASCAR to television, and now the networks are going to steal the rewards.
I also will cheer for any Ford over GM, but the 6 and 99 are my favorites. I think Matt Kenseth is going to be great too.

Unhappy

It is sad to see DW and EPSN go. They have both been very good for the sport. Another person leaving is Ned Jarrett (sp?). But I am glad that DW will be in the broadcasters booth, and that Nascar will be on regular tv. Maybe the sport can get bigger and better.

I love to see any Ford take that checkered flag in first, but if I had to choose I'm a Yates fan. Give me the 28 or 88 any day. But my new favorite is Kenseth. That boy is going to be big!

OK. I'll admit that I'm not much into racing, so, who the heck is DW?

I'm sure as soon as I hear it, I'm going to wonder how I could be so stupid. So, let me have it! LOL.

Fox scored big time getting Waltrip in the booth. IMO he did a great job.
Too bad the day ended so sadly, though.
