Well I95, it sure is funny that everyone here has realized that both of these threads were meant as jokes and only jokes. Although, you can't get it out of your head that I'm trying to make racial remarks. If I wouldn't have said something, you wouldn't even know if I was black or white. As it stands, and as I stated before, I am American Indian. And if you would like to read you text books, DIP *****, the Indians were treated far worse than any other race, excluding Jewish people. I have realized you must not visit Texas to often, considering that you might see one Confederate flag in 5000 vehicles. Also, if you will notice, out of all the people in the U.S. probably about 75% of the people make fun of Southerners accents. Only about 5% or so joke back, hmm, thats crazy.
As I recall, I haven't made any comments about being proud of southern heritage. The funny thing, is that the issue of slavery was a nationwide problem, not something that just happened in the SOUTH. So, I guess that means you should have plenty to be proud of also.

In our previous discussion concerning the North and South I took you for just another Yankee trying to bash my heritage. Now I know that you’re, in fact, a bigot trying to hide your own shortcomings in the differences all Americans inherently possess. Lest we forget that’s what makes us “American”. The way I see it, the ONLY people in this thread who have good reason to scream about the way they were historically treated (Native Americans) haven’t yet done so! The only person crying about this stuff is you. If you’ll notice, all of the posts here are in defense of your raciest comments about not just one, but THREE different cultures. I can’t imagine why Steve hasn’t jacked your posting privileges yet but I trust with that last comment you probably broke the camel’s back.

Please don’t give this guy the satisfaction of defending your beliefs any further. We’ve all made our opinions clear and what he chooses to cloud his mind with is beyond our control. The best thing to do now is let Steve know that a raciest is smearing the bulletin board with his ignorance and let him handle it. I applaud you for posting BOTH these topics. We all need a good laugh at our own expense every once in a while to keep us humble! Don’t worry about the rare dog who can’t see the humor in that.

 

I would like to state, that I haven't picked on any heritage. I have added jokes about both Northern and Southern heritages, therefore, not picking on any particular group. I would just like to defend my Native American heritage by saying, that I am very proud of it and the only alcoholic in my family is my brother-in-law from Cali. I think enough has been said about the situation, so therefore, I will discontinue posting on this thread in hopes of dropping an arguement with an uneducated fool. It is apparent that he/she cannot see past there own faults and disillusions. Although, I will continue to try and come up with and find more good jokes for the people who liked to have a good laugh.

 

Well, you've done an outstanding job at turning a joke into a racial war. I hope you guys never attend a comedy club, I'm sure someone will get hurt. I was not born in this country but I chose to live here mainly because all the cultures that have migrated here. I think it's just amazing to be able to see how other people see life. I am proud of my hispanic background but I try to laugh at jokes about "beaners" as perhaps many of you call us. I also make jokes about my culture but never with the intent to harm anybody's feelings. I just don't see how we, the United States of America, will be able to stand against enemies when we cannot even live with our North and South differences.

I checked behind my truck, there wasn't anybody there and as far as the Mexicans I 'abused', all I did was borrow money from them and they should have known better.

You have to live over the MASON DIXON LINE to be called someone from the North, which is somewhere near Maryland..so Quisling is not meant for anyone living south of that line.
