Not me. Every time I see one, it makes me feel glad I got an 08' just in time.

To me it just doesn't look "all new". It looks like they took an 04-08 body style, and just tried 'too hard' to make it flashy. Like a ghetto-mobile or something.

On the other hand, some of those fugly new Chevies and GMC's are starting to look not so bad to me, especially the ones with no chrome (helps to make the goofy bumpers look not so bad).
Heck, if I had to choose between an 09' GM or Ford, I think I'd take the GM.

Again, just glad I got my 08'. Hopefully in 15 years, their will be a truck I like better than the 09' Fords, or GM's, for that matter. I wonder what the 2024 will look like ;-)

Have your feelings for the 09' changed ? For better, or worse ?

No, they are not. I have looked at them at the dealer twice and just cant get past several things. The grille is a problem but I might could get past it. The tail lights drive me nuts. When I see one, that is the first thing I see. They are far too big and that chrome edging is just aweful, unless it's a silver truck. On a dark truck, and black is all I really like, it looks terrible. The tailgate is not too bad if it's the plain one, but the ones with the aluminum plate? What were they thinking? Also, the truck is just too square or boxey for my tastes. I'm happy with my decision to keep my 05.

 

Not really growing on me, aside from the headlight and the taillights I think the 09 is a great looking truck, but I would never trade my 08 for one.

 

I like em but not as much as my 07. I have to disagree with you on the choice b/t the other manufactures. I think if I had to get a new truck and it had to be an 09 it would still be a Ford. I went to the NY autoshow this past week and I must of spent about 30 min to an hour looking at an 09. I'm not in the market for one but I do think that there going to looking better in the years to come with some small changes. For instance. I like the Platinum but I dont like the fact that the side mirrors dont come painted the same color as the truck but that's a small issue. I like my body style better but I don't have any real complaints against the 09's, I would drive one especially if they came out with an FX2 Sport

Depends. If it has all the styling and such i like, Then i'd trade my '08 for one in a heart beat. But some of the 09 combinations are just plain Fugly!

 

they would grow me if all the ford dealers around here didnt suck. they are the reason that i am still in an 05 with 57K miles

 

I like what they did with the interior but I just can't get past the front end and those cheesy tail lights. Those wimpy little tail lights are not proportional with their new big bold front end. Not a big fan of the graphics either, never have been that's why I removed mine.

 

I love them, I'd buy one in a heartbeat if I could afford it

I really like the bright blue color but that's it. I drive by the ford dealer almost everyday 'cause it's on my way and I still just dont think they're very good lookin trucks. But i felt the same way when the 04's came out so we'll see

 

i think the exterior looks terrible but on the otherhand i like the interior alot more then my 06. all in all i would not buy that model truck and that says alot since i have had an 85,89.96,98,01 and now an 06 f150. that is the last 5 models ford has come out with and i refuse to own the 09 style

 

I like em, I'm just not a fan of the grille or tail lights. If I were to get one I would get the FX4 with the black grille, then smoke the tails. I hate the XLT's, WAY to much chrome on that grille for me

 

this is the ONLY model and color i'd be willing to trade up for. except in a supercrew. that chrome grille on the others is horrible!
