Welcome!
Where are you trying to post it, and what message are you getting?

You have to post the article in another part of the forum and if the moderator's approve the article they will move it to the how to section themselves.

It's locked so that new threads may not be posted as I don't want it to turn into a forum of less than average posts/threads that aren't value-added to the forum.

I *HIGHLY* encourage folks to post your How-To or similar within the forum that is most suitable on our site (ie: if you're putting together a How-To on changing out a stereo, the audio section would likely be the proper place). Once it's posted (with excellent grammar, punctuation, spelling, and photos (if possible), PM or email me the link noting that you think it's worth of being in the How-To forum. From there, we'll give it a look and bump it into the How-To or recommend a few additions/subtractions/edits before it moves in...

Long story short, it's a forum that I really want to be 'top notch' for our site. So far, the way we're doing it is working quite well and we're getting *lots* of good recommendations on How-To's that have been on our site for a while as well as several new ones...

Once your thread is moved into that forum, I'll change your user title to TAC.
