on a truck I have seen. Even the GMC looks much better than the new "Pug" style front end. The interior is great, but the outside looks terrible. Just my opinion. Happy I bought the 08 left over.

Yep thats why I'm keeping my 07 untill the next generation. Can't stand the new trucks. Love the 04-08's!

I still love my truck, but I'd take an 09.

i hate that fact they changed some options on the trim levels. i had an idea of ordering a new scab xlt with a moonroof, now you can't get a moonroof in a xlt.

just another scam to make your pay more money, guess they got that idea from GM

The front end is not the only screw up, what about tailgate and tail lights.

For the F150s I prefer my 06 styling, but I do like the way the bigger F250s look in the 09 form. Especially with an aftermarket grill.

I have found over the years that it takes me a long time to get to used to any of the new body styles -

When the '97.5 first came out, I thought it was the ugliest thing I've seen compared to my '95.
Got used to it over the years, and ended up buying a used '03 in 2006.

The '04 body style was easier for me to get used to - but waited until '08 to buy a new one.

So...who knows - maybe I'll get used to the '09 body style towards the end of it's life and get one in 2013 or something........

One thing that I really can't get used to is the new Super Duty front end - I just can't stand it!

Any reason for this being in the 04-08 sections, lol?

I guess to proclaim how much more he enjoys his 04-08 over the 09?

I can think of a few. But, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. While big discounts definitely steered me to buying a 2008, I can't say I'm unhappy with my choice. I don't disagree with the comments here on the 2009 styling and it's still not growing on me.

well they got the great idea from somone, i have to buy a fx4 or a lariat to get a moonroof, if i ain't spending enough money on a new truck already, screw off ford, bye bye

GM will still be going, regardless of speculation, no auto makers are safe at this point. there was a time when ford's thousands cheaper than than a silverado/sierra, i just went and priced out new crew cabs. there is very few dollars difference now, ford is gonna screw themselves IMO.

a well loaded xlt 09 and a well loaded sierra were 400 bucks difference in price. the sierra came with a 6/100 drivetrain warranty to boot. ford better step up. and they fuel management system is knocking down 20 mpg's in the crew cabs.
