Matt Adams new rig needs a name!
Seems my new 2000 F-150 XLT needs a name! Lets see, history of my vehicles names... my 94 Explorer is Vegas, cause its bright, loud, and lots of fun (and i will loose lots of money on it, LOL). My old 98 F-150 was Babe, like Babe the Blue Ox (since im kinda like Paul Bunyon at 6' 8", LOL). My 92 F-150 was "le blanc bete" whichis french for The white beast. So, heres what this truck is equipped with. It's a 2000 XLT, colored island blue (which is basically dark teal), its got the 5.4 Liter V8 engine (the biggest one offered in the 2000 F-150's), an automatic transmission, the 4x4 off-road package and the tow package, the bed is rhino lined, it's got the single CD player with some custom stereo equipment, got a K&N FIPK (whole new air intake system) going in next weekend, and it's already got true dual exhaust. It's got the Lund bug deflector (nothing but the best)
and it's got a genuine steel (like manik) black brush guard and a PIAA air dam... in the PIAA airdam is PIAA 520 fog lights, the 510 superwhite driving lights, and on the brushguard is 2 sets of PIAA 80 XT's. It's got grey cloth interior with the husky floormats. For right now I'm not planning on modifying the suspension, I kinda like being able to pull it in to the garage
. Future plans include a black rollbar, with possibly 6 PIAA 80 XT's mounted on top (which would kill pulling it into the garage), and a powdercoated or black rubber tollbox for the rear, and possibly herculining or rhino lining the nerf bars, brush guard and roll bar.
Paris has already been recommended as a nickname, you know city of lights? But I'm not sure, two vehicles named after cities? Plus I wouldn't want anyone thinking this one was dirty and smelled bad... LOL. Here are some pictures of it so far:
All ideas welcome but please, don't incorporate PIAA into the name like "PIAApet" we've been over that one before, LOL.

First of all - congratualtions on the new truck! It's beautiful!
I was thinking since it's so dazzling, what about Dazzler? Or since it's a "millenium" truck, call it Millie!
I am having a tough time deciding on a name for mine too - I want a masculine name since HE is my baby & wanted it to start with F since it's an F series & a Ford. I went to a baby names site & the 1 name I found that meant "outdoorsy" is believe it or not - FLUFFERNUTTER! I wouldn't name my cat that & he's an outdoor/indoor cat! I sure won't name my truck Fluffernutter!
Anyhow if you don't get any workable suggestions try a baby name site & see if you find something there. Just PLEASE don't choose Fluffernutter! LOL!

Love my truck & PROUD of it! If you can't beat 'em, you're NOT driving a FORD!

Here's my suggestion...
Envy... as in green with envy.
My truck is teal also, though a much lighter/brighter version of teal...
Her name is simply "The Truck."

Actually I was doing some research on mythology and found some cool names...
Helios - the Greek sun god
Belenus - the celtic god of light, name means "shining one"
Mithras - the roman lord of light.
Apollo- another greek sun god.
Mat,
Welcome Back Mat, nice truck! Will this one make it to the Dunes? If this one stays On-Road try La Vache.
How about piaa-teal? Teal Rhino or Blue Rhino? Le Truck? The Camion? La charrue (the Plow).
