Question New Bronco

Now I know this is a little off topic, but I just read an article about Chevy's concept K5-Blazer and Ford considering about having a concept Bronco. All I know is that it will have a SuperDuty chassis, and I was wondering if anyone knew where I can find some more info, especially about the engine because Chevy is going to put a 6.0L V8 with 400HP and 450 pounds of torque! You can find out for yourself at www.blueovalnews.com . Just scroll down to January 9, 2001 and find the article called "Chevy unveils 2 door full size SUV"

Thumbs up

I've heard of it too, only in some SEMA mag somewhere. It looked real good! I hope Ford makes it. I don't remember on the engine though. Could be the 5.4 most likely?

I really hate to be the bearer of bad news... I believe they scrapped the bronco line after they merged with land-rover and decided to make their truly off-road worthy SUV's, well, foreign and $40,000. Check out explorer4x4.com, we'd had some extensive conversations about the new bronco. Ford actually rode with us on several of our outings to gather ideas and so forth, but then last I heard was they had decided not to do it after all.

I really hope it wouldn't the 5.4 or the Chevy would eat it for breakfast.

Yep, here it is...

C'mon FORD!!!! But use the F-150 instead of the oversized SD. Or, maybe make them both. Yeah, both. We like choices.

I have to admit, I like the 180 degree rear door thing. I wonder what stops it from hitting the body...
