What I am saying is the least government is the best government. Our society has gotten to the point that we look to government to fix everything. We need to fix it ourselves and quit asking Uncle Sam to do everything, regardless of who is the President.

In all honestly, or at least in my opinion, this economic crash, by the housing market, and then other sectors is neither a republican or democrat caused problem. It was caused by all of them, every democrat, republican and independent in Washington the past 16 years.

It began in the Clinton years and continued through the Bush years, tons of democrats and republicans in both houses that could have stopped it. It was not Clinton or Bush’s fault but both houses and those severing in them.

Bush had nothing to do with either lax regulation or too much regulation of Wall Street or any other institution, just like Clinton had nothing to do with it. It’s all the other idiots running the show in Washington causing the issues because at the end of the day the President really doesn’t have that much power to screw things up.

To put it in simpler terms and to quote Hillary ”It takes a village” and as long as a majority of stupid Americans are allowed to vote the problem will not be corrected anytime soon…

For people to blame Bush just shows how many ignorant Americans there really are. You see the same example of Americans ignorance when you hear them blame Bush for the war in Iraq, or starting and invading Iraq. What these ignorant Americans refuse to accept as fact is, other then a small hand full of people, just about everyone in both houses voted for and APPROVED the war in Iraq, again, the President really doesn’t have the power to screw anything up without the majority assistance…

The Constitution is a great read to get the facts…

As a matter of fact that Constitution will also tell you just about everything Washington is doing now is UN-Constitutional…

Unfortunately there are just to many ignorant Americans to do anything about it…

THE REALLY SAD PART ---- NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO CHANGE THESE POLICIES... The fools still think it is going to be the housing market that will bring us out of the recession and REFUSE to even discuss changing policy for that reason. Plus what are they going to do ... start building public housing complexes again? I know in the past twenty years ALL of the big project homes around ATL have been torn down. (Where did all those people go?) Did trickle down work?
I work in the shadow of the GA dome. The projects are still there. Your last statement just isnt true.

Kill the rich with high taxes, and the poor will be left with no excuse for their laziness.

Trickle down works if the Gov't keeps taxes low. Not when you couple high taxes with welfare.

Atlanta Housing Authority

Most of the "large" project homes have been torn down. I am sure there are others... There are "apartment" complexes down MLK Jr. Dr. a few blocks from the dome. There are "some" public housing complexes left, but all are scheduled to be torn down at some time in the near future. At least in the ATL area.

Here are a few examples of "Government controlled" public housing projects that have been torn down and/or rebuilt under private control...
Perry Homes Now dirt... That was one of the roughest housing projects ever. What was Bankhead Project Notice the absence of people/cars? They tore down the original and rebuilt "apartments". Not exactly at full levels. Back in the 80's a couple of my friends were driving to a Hawks game and got jumped at the red light there. They were almost beat to death for $20. Techwood Homes were torn down to make the Olympic village.

According to Bill O'Reily the 3 main suspects responsible for the current housing crisis is as follows!
1. Bush
2. Barney Frank
3. Christopher Dodd

Chew on that one!...............
