Your Chicago Bears...

Stole my freaking quarterback!! The whole coaching/quarterback situation in Denver is a joke right now, the Broncos are screwed for the forseeable future.

Cutler is a fun QB to watch, congrats and enjoy.

Long live Neckbeard!

Honestly, the Bears gave up way way too much for Cutler. With his health issues he could go down at any moment.

Stealth, the Bears havent exactly had the best track record with 1st rounders. I mean c'mon, 3 1st rounders in the last 10 years turned out decent. We've been fighting to find a quarterback since McMahon.
The Bears gave up too much? It's all relative. Jerry Angelo has never been comfortable drafting 1st rounders, Ortons a system quarterback that didnt fit in Chicago, and the Bears get a bonafide pro bowl QB........its not even close to too much....

The Bears never gave Orton a system. He's a top tier NFL QB, the Bears never gave him an offense or a chance.

Yes. You never know though. I know they monitor his health all the time during the game, but anything can happen.

The Bears never gave him ANYONE to throw the ball to! That is a fact. The Bears never gave him a chance to perform.

What health issues? He was dealing with undiagnosed diabetes two years ago but that's under control now. He takes a hit better than most quarterbacks. Not sure what you're referring to? I'm sorry to see him go.

I bet Orton prospers in Denver because he has a superior receiving corps now. Cutler will struggle in Chicago, crappy receivers.

He takes a hit better because he's diabetic? That's funny!

Cutler is the franchise QB that the Bears have been looking for since McMahon. We have seen 22 QB's since 1990. The Bears have had 3 successful 1st rounders since 1991. The guys got diabetes for Christ sake not leukemia. Diabetes is not a "go down at any minute disease" its a way of life for a lot of people.
Some of the greatest athletes ever were diabetics
Arthur Ashe, Bobby Clarke, Ty Cobb, Buster Douglas, Smokin Joe Frazier, Billie Jean King, Sugar Ray Robinson, Ray Santo
Its not something that will cause day to day health issues that would cause him to "go down" at any minute......

Two seperate points. Still trying to figure out why controlled diabetes would make him "go down at any moment".
