In IT we deal with the possibility of losing your job every year. Back in 07 I had only my work to do. Now I have the work of two added to my work load, and I'll get the work of one more person added before the end of this year. I have not seen a pay raise in two years, but I do have enough work to keep busy for a few years.

I"m doing great, but Some times I feel emotionally bankrupt because every day I get a little further behind.
