Hey Pyro, I was just wondering why you like the elctric better. Is the e-maxx the same truck just in an electric version? I have and RC10 electric and an RC10 gas truck, and except for the gas being a little messy, I prefer it. The thing I like about gas is the fact that you can run the vehicle several times in a row, no recharge. I am not busting your b@lls or any thing, just wondering.

Hey Pyro,
I dig the t-maxx too. I don't have one yet, but if you are going to sell yours, let me know. I'd be interested in buying it.
I can't swing buying a new, too pricey for me, but I would consider a used one.
Do you have any pics. Email me: vpaini@interactivedesign.net

hey
i like electric better just because it is less hassle
i love working on the gas ones but u always know that the electric is going to run the same despite the weather
and that trx15 motor is a little to touchy in the tuning department for me
i am selling it to my brother in law
he is low in cash cus the new baby so i am letting him pay it off slowly
it is already in his possesion
and yes the E-Maxx is the same as the T-maxx jsut electric
same tranny and all so it still has the 2speed
and dual motors with dual batteries
try out that site though it is the best out there

Hey Pyro, that maxxtraxx site is a cool site. I'm already registered as maxximus. I can understand your pros and cons between the gas and electric. I also have a electric modifed Blackfoot, and totally despise(sp?) charging the batteries so often. I once added two extra cells on my pack to increase the time it holds a charge, but found that it's only good for burning out speed controllers! One extra cell is max on those things. Mine lasts maybe 2-3 minutes tops! I actually love the tinkering part on the gas engines. I use to drag race, and loved doing timing and carb adjustments to improve my performance. I find gas powered RC to be the next and last step. The power and upgrades are uncomparable. I can't believe these things run nitro methane! The same fuel they use in top fuel dragsters and funny cars!(with a couple other additives though). I'm in the process of hunting down a 97 to 01 F-150 flareside body for it, so I can duplicate my truck. If you guys have any idea where I can find one, let me know. I've already checked parma's site.

2000 F-150 4x4, yeah I remember that thread. That kind of sparked my interest in RC's again. I probably pick up an aftermarket air filter for it, and maybe look into a roll bar. I took it out last night, and rolled it a couple of times, so that might be a good investment. The motors almost completely broken in. I can hold it WOT most of the time, but still trying to hold back for the complete break in. I really should pickup a charger. I'm using those resistance cables right now, and there kind of a hazard considering I almost fried my battery trying to charge it.
Wingnut33, I wouldn't be surprised if they came out with a Super Crew body. I know Parma has a Sportrac body. I'm still looking for a good regular cab flareside body.

The body that comes with the E-Maxx looks like a Supercrew. I think the best one is the F-350 Super Duty body by Proline. It's for the T-Maxx. It looks like it has places molded in for the cylinder head and the fuel tank. Anyway, don't have any RC car stuff now but have in the past so I'll pick up a magazine to see whats new. I fly RC planes when I can. Really would like to get an E-Maxx though.
