You should swap wheels with your Focus before you return it

Bad thing though, is that the first year of ANY new car is going to have one problem or another...
It's slotted below the Focus.

The new Focus with be the Euro Spec Focus, just like the new Fiesta but bigger, and that one will probably top out at the $20K range.

The Fusion is the $20K plus range, which is based on the Mazda6 you are considering.

I don't care if you like my truck or not. I didn't ask your opinion.
from the bleachers, you didn't offer him a simple opinion of like or dislike, or even a true opinion about the car.

Seems to me, from my vantage point, that you were offering an opinion on him, thinly disguised as some off handed smart *** reply about not liking the car.

His response to you wasn't any worse than your comment to him, imo.

Dislike.

The car itself is not half bad, graphics look terrible. Is that better?

I guess maybe I was just in a smart a$$ mood when I posted.

I like the clean look on cars without wings, graphics, fart-can exhausts, neon lights, etc. Every time I see a car with that stuff there is some young punk who acts like he is racing everyone on the road at the same time.

I was beside one just the other day with a 5-point harness in a Civic. He also had the 8" diameter tach, a fire extinguisher mounted to the A-pillar and rims that were worth more than the entire car.

When I had a Mustang GT I used to have these guys pull up next to me in their Civics and Doge Neons. They would rev their "engines" and I would just laugh.

Maybe I am just getting old....who knows?

Like gipraw said, there is a difference between sharing your opinion and sounding like a *****.

I think I know a thing or two about having clean vehicles with tasteful modifications, but hey, maybe not?

Oh well

I get the car in 11 days- can't wait to get some more time in there to get a better impression of the vehicle. So far, so good

There is nothing wrong with either of those trucks. They are nice and clean without anything added to distract the eye. Calling me names is juvenile but if it makes you feel better go for it. My original post was a half joking comment because I had recently been sent a picture of 3 guys with spiked hair, fake tans and pink polo shirts with popped collars. Sorry if I offended you.

I'm out.

Thanks! I normally wouldn't be a fan of B segment cars either- but this one is different.

I didn't realize I called you a name. If I did- I didn't mean to.

I don't have spiked hair, popped collars, or drive around looking to race everyone. I just like cleanly modified vehicles.

The Fiesta is not "mine" and my hands were tied on what I could do. Being someone that has NEVER put decals on paint ever before, it was something new for me too to pick a graphic design. But at the same time, I think it is pretty subtle and might look alright.

Oh well, only time (11 days to be exact) will tell.

No worries. See your previous post. You called me a *****. Good luck with the car. Do you have to send in reviews to Ford or do anything special?

Heh, I meant that you came off sounding *****-ish- it's different

I used to get in trouble for telling my EX she was being bitchy- I always had to explain that it is different than flat out calling her a bitch

As for the car etc, we do have monthly "missions" that we partake in and report back on.

They just got the website up with the "agent" info, but it is lacking details since things aren't quite underway yet.

You have to watch that. I have been married for 12 years. You learn early not to say things like that.

I will check out that site.
