5.0vs5.43v?

Do you guys think my 04 fx4 would out run my brothers 94 mustang 5.0 215hp?

Nope even though them stock 5.0's are slow your truck is heavy!

Auto or Manual..

If auto you might have a chance.

I pealed the bark off of a stock 350z which is owned by a punk I work with.

That was from light to light, close to a 1/8th mile.

On interstate he would have pwned me!

Those GT' are a fukin slush box when stock. I say go for it. The worst thing that can happen is he beats you by a fender and you get to rage his a$$ because his mustang can barely beat a brick house on wheels. I actually test drove one many years ago and was very very very disapointed. I think it will be alot closer than most expect.

Ditto, if it's a bone stock 5.0 it will be close.

Anything done to it.. forget it.
