Crude humor. That's all it was. It's not like any of us haven't made a jokingly crude remark before, no matter who you are.

People can try using that excuse for everything he does, but he is the President of the United states. He should be showing nothing but class and intelligence in his words. For people to say something like "oh come on everybody has done something like that before" doesn't work. We're not all the President of the US.

It doesn't really matter what I think of the matter. A lot of people will be offended by it. A lot of people will not care. IMO, I feel he could have made a joke a lot better than that.

Agreed. The president of the United States should be above this.

He should also be above showing up on late night comedy shows for that matter. Do you think there is a reason why he is the 1st president to show up on The Tonight Show?

What's next? Is he going to be on Springer next week?

It just doesn't seem very "presidential" to me.

So I'm trying to figure out why you quoted what I typed because it has nothing to do with what you typed.

That UK list is kind of weak. If that's the level outrage from which lists are made then it will be eight years for sure.

You know, he got elected while in league with an unrepentent terrorist.
Also, he was born in Kenya.
And he sat on that pew for 20 years and all the while he was a muslim.

From what I read, it seemed as if you were defending Obama, saying that he's just like us and will accidentally make a crude remark. If that's not what you were saying, my bad.

I wasn't defending him, I was calling it like I saw it. He made a crude joke. That's it. Nothing else to it as far as I'm concerned.

He is human and not the messiah. He now proves that hourly.

Crude humour or not, he is the President of the United States, & is on national television, he should have been more cognizent of the forum & setting that he was speaking in.........I have spoken in much lesser public stages, & have always watched & kept track on what comes out of my mouth.....

I agree. Everyone makes crude jokes now and again.

I agree with this also, though. He is the President...it should be like being at Grandma's house all the time.

Actually I am kinda the opposite I wish the president could and would just say whatever the hell they are actually thinking instead of trying to be so prim and proper. Nobody actually acts like that so why do you want to see someone being fake. I just don't get it, just act like a real person.

It was a dumb thing for a President to say, if only because too many people don't have a sense of humor.

As much as I may dislike him, I do have to agree with Carlos Mencia when it comes to making jokes at the expense of the disabled:

I personally thought it was funny as hell, I see nothing wrong with it, nor him being on the show.

Flame suit on!
