we have had one for about 4 months now. And i can say this, no problems with the straps, but if you have a little one like I do, ( 2years old ) that always walking around. Be carefull. I wacked him in the head the other day playing bowling with the wife. Didn't see him behind me. But don't worry, he's a tough little fellow. And you will get a good work out with this gaming system. Me and wife played tennis and bowling for about 3 hours one day, and holy crap was i sore the next day. But it is fun for the family to have a blast with if you have games that up to 4 people can play. I say get it.
