I missed you are from Texas. What you should have done is contacted your attorney the moment she told you she didn't have insurance. He could have had papers brought to the crash site and had her served with notice of seizure. You would have called a wrecker to take her vehicle to a certified impound lot and she would not be able to get her vehicle back until she posted a $10,000 bond for the damages to your truck. Most are not aware of this in Texas but the law is on the books. She also would have been served by the State for driving without required insurance and probably lose her license. I'll bet she wouldn't laugh that off. Sure is nice to have an attorney in the family.
And yeah, the cops probably didn't show up for a wreck on private property. All they care about is the numbers and fines. You and your truck are irrelevant.

What if they decide to just hit and run? Should I pursue and find out where they stop, or whats the deal? I would imagine getting they're plates and their color, make, and model would be good enough, but then what?

Unfortunately, I ended up yelling the "F" word several times in front of everyone, and embarassed myself. As in, how do you not see a big "F"ing truck, and you seriously don't have any "F"ing insurance, and everyones all time favorite, are you "F"ing laughing? "F"ing seriously?
At least I have insurance, and no one died. However, I have yet to return to that gas station. Check back in the AM for more pics. Damage isn't that bad, just pisses me off.

Man that sucks! You do have a sharp truck, and when things like that happen I always throw in a mod or two, just to make me feel better.
