Does Ford generally offer a rebate on their F150s at the end of their model year? I'm gettin' ready to buy and don't want to see a $2000 rebate come out the week after I get a new truck.

Some of the Memphis dealers all ready offer a 1,500.00 rebate on F150's as I seen the ads on tv the last few days.

I picked mine up on July 31st and received a $500.00 rebate. Then the next night I saw a FORD commercial offering $1,500 cash back or special financing. I could not believe it. I contacted the dealership and was told the $1,500 rebate from FORD is for a manual V6 F-150 only..the sheet they faxed me had $1,000 plus an additonal $500.00 (column heading was cut off) for the V6. V8 models get $500.00 right now.
