Well, I'm pounding out the details on a 2001 F-150 XLT 4X4 Sport reg. cab, Styleside 4.6L 5 speed. That got me the price I want. Now, do I want black, or silver?

Well, I'm the proud owner of Tina's former beast of a truck, and I love the 5 speed, but I'll admit, I was suprised that the 5 speeds even existed.

As you might have read in my recent topic, the truck is going through a bit of a reconstruction right now see "Crashed ...",
I'll also say that if the truck was an automatic the damage mighta been worse.

See my signature, everything about the truck is perfect. I just ordered a grille guard and a billet grille, and I will most likely be ordering a F-1 Cobra hood for it too.

Get the black! Of course I could be prejudiced since that is the color of my truck. But when they are freshly washed nothing looks better than black.

klaibs27: truck had 17,000 mi on it, looked absolutely perfect. didn't hear it run so you never know. i couldn't believe the price myself. was out loooking around this weekend and it was already gone, not surprised. especially up here 4x4's usually go much higher because of winter snows.
jackal: black is of course the better color unless you ask my son who was so disappointed that we didn't get the beautiful silver truck that was parked right next to my black one when we picked it up.
ahhh, just noticed your truck is a s/c this one was a reg cab. big price difference here anyways. hard to find a s/c under 20,000
