i build pc's in my spare time. all my pc are home made. i run my home theater through my pc....if you did a restore on a recent purchased pc did you use the partion on your hd to restore or did you use a disc. the hd restore should have all the software that came with the pc...all it take to do this is when the pc starts up find the key you need to tap to get to it..if it was restored by disc this may have damaged the file and it will not work. but it seems you have alot of files and updates and drivers to install if your not sync to a phone.
