Well it detected quite a few high risk items, which it recommended I quarentine, I tried that, It worked with about 3/4 of them, then kept telling me the items could not be deleted. Then something called NT AUTHORITY began shutting down my computer, and gave me a little timer thing. Any thoughts?

I've gone from one problem to another. Now the computer boots up normally, goes to the log in screen, and my name appears. When I click on my name to log in (not pw protected) It starts to log me in, makes the log in noise, then IMMEDIATELY logs me off. It won't even load the desk top. From what I read it's a virus that has modified some of the registry information. I need to create a BartPE cd and edit the registry info. Only problem is I don't have my original install disks... Is there anyway to create a BartPE cd without using the Windows disk? Or is there a way to edit the registry without the CD?

In safe mode have to tried logging in as Administrator? If you didn't setup a password for Administrator leave it blank.

This could be just something corrupt in your user files. I've seen it happen before. If you can get in as Administrator just create a new user and try that.
