With the money they dished out to Howard Stern everyone should have seen this one coming.

Lol yeah they honestly thought that people loved Howard Stern so much they would all switch over to Sirius I guess?

Maybe Howard should give them a partial refund...

I was one who actually waited a long time to get Sirius because I can't stand Howard and didn't want to contribute to his wallet or the look of subscribing because of him. I finally gave in but couldn't even tell you what channel he is on.

It's a bummer though, I've been addicted to Sirius ever since I hooked it up but ever since they merged with XM I think the quality has gone down. I tried XM a long time ago and hated it and was pissed when they brought over some of their crappy stations to Sirius. Ever since the merge they have more sensored stations and worse dj's. Just a bad situation IMO.

It wasn't the money they paid to howard stern. It's ridiculous to charge 12 bucks a month for radio.

I hope they don't shut it down, I need to get another year out of it to reach the break-even point.

I used to think the same thing until I subscribed to it. It's so much more than radio. It really is surprising how much they offer. Plus, not having to deal with reception issues is a big plus. I travel a lot and it's so nice not having to hit scan to find a new station.

Plus, regular radio has some news on there but Sirius offers all the cable news channels along with a lot more. It's actually pretty good. I still believe it's starting to blow now that XM is in the picture but I happily pay $165 a year.

I was real close to buying a Sirius radio in September but then I bought an atv instead. Id rather have the atv.

I get stuck listening to Howard Stern at work because my manager listens to his show all day long. I wish that whiny jerk would just shut up already. So annoying and so stuck on himself. Then theres the annoying actors he's got on there that are right up his ***.

Do they really need a wrap up show? Seriously thats stupid.

Get it right Frank its 13 dollars a month!!!. You pay fa huge cable bill and TV you can get it for free ???.
I have a long azz drive and stations come in and out with regular radio, never with the satt.
I always liked sirius radio and i enjoy the comedy channels, anykind of music and howard stern show sometimes. It is a shame they cannot profit from it.

Sorry to hear about those who bought the lifetime plan but Sirius is a classic case of a poorly run organization. They started out good and once they got people to sign up thier programming went downhill, the gave that idiot stern a deal that they could not afford and thier customer service is the absolute worst, and then they raise rates. Everyone I know has cancelled, or is trying too ( good luck ). I have been trying to cancel since November, in writing and by phone and they keep sending me bills!!
Goodbye sirius and good ridance!!

Same here Bucky,
I love listening to sat radio, there's no comparison.
I like Howard Stern, sometimes he can get carried away and go too far, so I change channels, but man, some of those interviews are funny as fk.

Sirius used to be good, then they merged with XM. Now their new country station sucks, they edit more music, and play more of the same lame music.

I am a "lifer" with Sirius, have a "sportster" in my p/u, home set-up, boombox, on-line at work and portable set up for the road trips in the Thunderbird SC. Pretty sure I get my monies worth.
