Sigh... if I just wanted the trees down, yes, I could hand saw them down. But, they'll need to be chopped up to fit into the fireplace (or firepit at the lake... come on summertime!), and they both have lots of branches.

Those little things are not worth the match it would take to light them! Just bag'em and send them to the landfill!

I damn near spit water all over my computer screen on that one! Where might I go about buying one of them and how much up keep is there associated with one of these machines?

Seriously though, I am considering the Husqvarna for my next saw purchase. I have a poulan 260 pro 18" and it has been good to me but I am wanting a little more power.

Great, now I'm going to have to rent a wood chipper, too.

Nope, just whack'em with your nail clippers. Hey, you could hook a chain on them and yank'em out with your truck!

I have considered Husky's, but I love my Stihl 009. Best running and cutting saw I have. I've got a 20" Poulan Pro for the bigger trees. Good running saw, too.

With 5" saplings, get a sharp axe. You won't have to deal with mix and bar oil. Leave that to the men. I love the smell of 2 strokes.
