Not a fan but I wanted to see if something was true. Aren't these guys supposed to be Christian heavy metal or something?

Awesome!!!!!

Everyone get on board and go steal some music. Bust out your torrents and even your old school lime wire and steal, steal, steal. Screw the recording studio and the engineer that put all their time and resources into the project. Screw the band that put all the time and effort into recording.

Freaking please. Downloading it is no different tha recording it off the radio, except the radio is free and we have to pay for internet service.
The fact is, since music is downloadable, record sales have actually gone up for the highest downloaded artists. People preview what they want and if it's good, they go buy it. If it sucks, they shouldn't go buy it, so they should at least be informed.
And yeah, bands that are multi-millionaires whining about the 7 bucks they would have got froma CD sale? (This means YOU, Metallica!) Yeah, screw them. They need to get off their high horses.

I know Chris Adler from LOG and have hung out with him quite a few times. Chris and my father both attended Bishop High in Virginia. Got to hang out with Chris when I was 14 at the Ashes of the Wake release party here in Louisville. My dad and Chris drunk a few cold ones and I seen the rockstar life lol....

I looked up a few of their songs on Youtube.

Some dude screaming and grunting at the top of his lungs like he's pissing a pineapple over another dude beating the hell out of his bass and toms and a couple of guitars playing the same boring *** root fifth power chord riff or chugga-chugga muted low E over and over for five minutes per song just ain't my thing.

The yelling and screaming sucks more than anything. Ditch that guy, and I think I could listen to them instrumentally.

The way it works is like this:
A person with capital (money and assets) invests in an enterprise to create a product or service for SALE. The person employs other persons creating jobs and generating revenue for payroll and operating costs. The band comes in and records at the owners expense. The band goes on the road at the owners expense. The band gets marketed at the owners expense. All of the production costs are incurred by the producer, the guy behind the scenes, and remember, the producer has the money, the band has a line of CREDIT. At the end of the first year on the road the BAND gets the BILL from the OWNER/PRODUCER. Bands are not multimillionaires unless they are individually owned and operated. If bands are millionaires, then the record label has even more money.
This is not the issue. The issue is your paradigm of entitlement. While one person not shelling out $7 may seem insignificant, the millions of others with the exact same paradigm and lack of respect and discipline are operating under the same guise.
"Since you have all the money, you should produce entertainment for me at your expense and the expense of others......"
I was just like you. I "Stole" plenty of music. After being in the business and realizing what a hypocrite I was being, I wiped the hard drives and started over again....LEGALLY. Legal rights are put in place to protect your assets including intellectual property. Should you continue your current course of action, be apprised that you are in essence negating that very protection for your self BY YOUR ACTIONS. I have spent a few hours recording little bands that have tremendous talent and paid me really hard earned money to produce something they hoped to market for a profit.
People like yourself make that very hard.
