hmmmm....
I'm still trying to figure out what year it is. It looks like a 97/98 grille, 99/00 bumper, with mid 80's/90's hubcaps.
What's going on here?

He got the 98 grill because he likes the X look and the 3/4 ton hub caps till he can talk his wife into some nice rims. It's a work series so the bumpers were grey, the grill was black and the rims are steel grey. Looks better now. He's planing on putting thin fog or driving lights between the grill and bumper.

Firezap, What do you think of the truck?

While I was waiting for the picture to load, I was expecting the truck to be decked out with a whole bunch of red lights and fire department decals. I am a volunteer fire fighter and some of volunteer's personal vehicles have more flashing lights than the engines do.

I think the assistant chief has a nice truck, new wheels will definatly make it look nicer.

I'm with NSS on that one, I was expecting a Vector light bar or two and some serious strobes.
The truck looks nice and if he likes those wheel covers, so be it.

I like the grill, for what its worth.
Looks like a pretty nice station in the background..

 

Looks pretty plain to me other than the extra shiny red paint. It also looks small in the picture. I mistake these lowered 2wd trucks for Rangers all the time. It needs a big dalmation in the box!
