It's the hotel bar in the Crowne Plaza on Shackleford.
The only thing unique about is the ceiling is five stories high.

Well that explains why I have never wet my whistle there. I don't normally need a hotel in the town I live in.

That makes sense to me.
I'm going to check out Cregeens Fri night.
How is the parking around there?
On street or is there a garage nearby?

There are two large parking lots across the street (Broadway). They are open and free unless there is an event at Altell. If they are charging there are lots of spots along Main street and all the little side roads around there. You might walk 3 blocks but save $10. The only place not to park is between the drug store and the old Checkmate club. The guy that owns the place makes money towing cars of the lot. It is poorly marked to lure people in, quite a racket. The city came down on him pretty hard so it might have slowed down a bit but still not worth the trouble.

More than likely I will be at Creegens on Friday night with some co-workers. I got a promotion this week and therefore must buy a round. I would recommend saving some of your party diem money for the food there.

Thanks for the info.
Just got back, the view was worth the climb.
I guess my broken ankle is officially healed.

Glad to hear the ankle held up. The weather was nice today, probably kinda breezy up there huh?

I forgot to mention the horse races in Hot Springs. Oaklawn is a beautiful place.
Maybe next time. I'm not familiar with the Bar you were talking about with Wookie. I trust you'll enjoy it also.
I hope you've enjoyed your visit.
