Trucks & Bikes
Greetings -
I usually hang out over on the Lightning board and have gotten "off-topic" several times talking about motorcycles. There seems to be a natural affinity for motorcycles on the F-150 board. It would be interesting to find out how many members have motorcycles and what kind of bikes we have in common.
I have a 97 Valkyrie custom and have owned several dirt bikes. I currently have a 89KTM MX520 4-stroke and a 72 Bultaco Alpina 360.

My current ride is a heavily modified '91 KDX250 which I've street legalized and use on dual sport rides and in the woods. It's got Race Tech suspension and a great motor, but its about 30 pounds overweight. The magazines all hated this bike but with the right mods it runs pretty well. I plan on getting a 2000 or 2001 KTM 300EXC (2 stroke) or 400EXC (4 stroke).

Well, my last bike was a Suzuki GSXR 750, red/white/black. Fast !
I'm outta that stage, but I still like to ride one every now & then. (Crotch rockets).
I want a new "Fat Boy" bad... but we're going to have kids, so realistically, I will be waiting about 15-20 years for my Fat Boy.
Until then, it's just going to have to be Trucks & Cars & I will ride my friends fat boys until then. At least I have several who have them & one who is going to be getting another one as an extra & said I can ride it whenever I want.
Used to have dirt bikes/enduros growing up.
When I was 13-14 I used to deliver papers on my motorcycles. The neighbors loved that... NOT ! LOL

My last bike was an 82 GPz 1170. I drag raced it while stationed in England. Dream bike: Mr Turbo ZX11 (459hp
for the street). Of course a new ZX9 or 12 would be nice. Saving my pennies now for a GPz 750 Turbo. A friend in England had one with nitrous. It was awesome. I like bikes that can scare me on a straight road. Power wheelies rule!

I have several go-fast toys that I haul in my 1997 F-150:
1. 1993 GSX-R907cc Streetfighter (APE 907cc big bore kit installed, Fox Twin Clicker Shock & SRS linkage, Acerbis DHH streetfigher lights, Tokico 6 pot brakes, stainless steel lines, SRAD solo seat, Stage One jet kit and K&N filter, Pro Tek anodized 520 sprockets and Regina 520 Gold O-Ring chain, bodywork is painted Ford Cardinal Red to match my truck, polished frame, swingarm and triple clamp).
2. 1998 Ski-Doo MXZ670 - Crank Shop twin pipes & silencers, cut head, carbon fiber rotary valve, 42mm carb intake kit, 144 Woodys with yellow backing plates, 4th wheel kit, yellow snowflap. This sled is faster than 670HO or new MXZ700.
Looking to buy a second bike, either a TL1000S or a 1996+ SRAD - my streetfighter is more of a showbike than anything. Would love to pick up a 1998+ Yamaha R1 but the prices are still a bit high.
Anyone been able to fit two sportbikes in the bed at one time????? I was thinking of buying two sets of wheel chocks so that I could fit my brother-in-law's CBR900rr in the bed at the same time as my bike....
I also used to haul my 17' Hydrostream Ventura Comp/Mercury 200HP but I sold it a couple of months ago. It was a red sparkle finish that looked great with my red truck.
I would love to hear about other F150 owners fast toys.
