Well it doesn't look good...Just heard the news and they are predicting an average price of $2.00 a gal. for regular by the end of this month....Didn't buy gas this morning(since I had the wife's car...hehehhehe) and regular was $1.43,by early evening price was at $1.51 at the same pump.I think they are trying to KILL us...

I just put 40.10$ of gas into my truck (53.53 L.). Thats 2.83$ per gallon cdn!!!!!
In U.S. funds thats 1.92$. Thanks to our damn P.Q separatist/communist government and Federal taxes (taxes went up 500% in the past year*). Every time I put gas in my truck I wish I have an Escort or Tercel, But the feeling goes away every time I get into my truck

Damn! I'm glad I still have one full tank of gas. Guess I'll spend $10 bucks at a time until the prices come down. Stupid Opec! Anyone have a recepe for making gasoline, perferably 91 octane?

 

The prices at the local Hadji food mart went up 4 times in the last 3 days. This store gets gas shipments 2 times a week. These broken English speaking foreigners raised the prices 4 times on the same shipment they received 3 days ago. Look for Deltona Florida to be in the news about a convenience store owner lynching over gas price gouging.

Clinton could easily help control these prices slightly by releasing some of the oil reserves..but of course..he is too busy with his INTERNS, fund raising parties, and ramming gun control down our throats to give a care!

The experts say that even after OPEC increases production the prices won't come down substantially for A LONG TIME. That does not make sense. I have a lot of Trucker friends, and the independents are getting hammered. As far as the John Rocker deal, my house is worth $10,000 less now than 2 years ago because of the type of citizens who have moved into my neighborhood. I guess junk cars and trash thrown everywhere, and people with no visible means of support has made me sour. Buy my house and I'll become my jolly self again.

Maybe it is an attempt to slow down this craze for larger and larger SUVs and trucks? Everyone has reported record sales in this area for many years now. Ford Excursions are showing up on the used car lots more and more now!!

Like I said before, this winter has not been all that cold to drive up the demand and in turn cause these record gasoline prices...as claimed by our government and the news. This winter has been mild compared to many.

Now OPEC cutting production will drive up prices for sure. And I have also heard it will be some time before any relief hits us..and prices will steadily increase.

Around here, people fill up and leave and that doesnt help the prices!

Another thing that gets me is the fact that ever since I have lived here in Georgia/Alabama....fuel prices have almost always been lower than most areas of the US...20 cents or more for any grade.

Now, they are equal to or slightly higher than many areas.

I'll be driving the Mazda 626 for a while...until the fuel prices come back down.
