There's a 17 year old in town that just got an 09 Ram for his graduation present. He's already getting the big head talking crap about how much faster his truck is compared to Ford's and Chevy's. Just wait till I catch his *** on a straight road i'm gonna make him eat his word's. All that matter's is that I beat him on the topend.

 

Wouldn't the Hemi blow our trucks away? I've always been under the impression they were much more powerful.

 

The '09s probably will, but not the '04+

 

They are faster in acceleration but around here these kid's are dumb so as long as I reel him in on the topend then that will be enough to shut his mouth. I think the main reason the hemi's are faster is because they have a 5speed tranny and most of the truck's come with a 3.90 gear ratio.

 

Yea the only hemi i've lost too was a single cab 2wd that was programmed. I've beaten a quadcab hemi before and a Titan.
