What does one's post count determine?
One guy making one how to post that troubleshoots a problem and saves the rest of us $$$ is more important to me than another guy with 10,000 posts and is just one of the sheep.

You only get count for those threads that post information. It's supposed to be an indication of how much you have contributed to the site, helping others, discussing trucks, etc.

I agree!

It took me time to learn that. But if I'm in a hurry I'll start a thread.
Now I just post ***** here.
I can honestly say that I have never submitted a post stricly to get another click on the post count.
I'll beat ya to it, yes I want a cookie.
Notice I didn't say all my posts outside of GD have been useful. But I would say that 98% of them were at least trying to be.

Hello
Most of these guys on here that have the technical information you're looking for, may overlook telling someone about the fuel filter.
Most people will change it when they have a problem with a lean code and cutting out.
Ya shoulda toldem all you new to do was put gas in it
