Thumbs up

No problem fitting my CC in the garage. I too prefer to back in. I must say though that I did have a lot more room left in the garage when I used to park my F150 in there.

I can get mine in the garage. I just have to be careful how high I jack it up to work on it.

Well, for the longest time my garage was filled with junk, and when it was finally cleaned out, only my dad's honda accord (98 5spd manual 4 cylinder) fits in there. So my truck and my mom's car get the driveway.

Okay, speaking of commercial parking garages, I know this sounds ridiculous but, how many of you out there duck down while driving through a really tight one? You know it makes no difference but I still find myself slouching down like it helps the truck lol. We have a lot of them out here in Vegas.

I turned mine into a pool room complete with Frig, freezer, sleeper sofa, computer, TV, lavatory, sink, cabinets, stationary bike and treadmill. The last two items are gathering dust of course. It's a two door garage and is 24 X 36 so I guess it would fit but I enjoy the indoor recreation space so much. I live upstairs and that part of house is only 28 X 36 so I can use the extra living space. All of this is heated and cooled. Most of my junk is in two of those sit down storage buildings one 12X12 and a 10X8. I am parking under a temporary shelters (those things you get at Sam's) until I can build or buy a permanent parking cover.

Yes, my truck fits & sits in the garage "Every" night & chance it gets. I too though agree that the "architects/designers" should have had more consideration for people with trucks/large vehicles ! Then next house I buy will have "at least" a 3 car garage & maybe the 3rd car space will be the big tall door for boats/rv's... I like those !
Even if I don't have one, the extra light let in would be nice !
I have about 2" in front of the truck & have enough room to walk sideways behind the truck when the door is down.

SS

My garage has been Re-Classified as a auxillary storage area. All my trucks sleep outside.

It fits with the 9X7 doors, but I can't put any lights on my roll bar like Mudder did. Length is ok for me since the third stall is double long. It would fit in the other two stalls, but the wall/door would be right at the bumpers.

mine fits in the garage, i have the two 8 foot garage doors and i have to fold-in the drivers side mirror to fit my truck through the door. i have about 1 foot of space in the front of the truck and absolutely none in back (once the garage door is shut). it is a very tight fit...but prefer it indoors instead of outside.

Truck fits on one side and the wife's Windstar mini-van fits on the other. Of course, I had to take out my work benches and everyone has to make sure doors don't hit the other vehicle, but I'm protected from the Texas weather while at home.

Found a neat trick to make sure I don't drive in too far..... put a brick ledge on the floor where I want the driver's front wheel to stop. Doesn't slide and it's easy to know when you are all the way in!

Just put up a new home here...and garage made to fit both my 97 F150 and Windstar. 24 X 34, two doors, 9 X 7...best thing I ever did, although my door mirrors just BARELY clear them it seems!

Never had a garage before, this is paradise!
