Who Gambles?

Went to the Casino tonight with some of the guys and made $100 turn into $300 . Not bad for someone who doesn't like throwing lots of money down on the table. Craps is my preferred game of choice. What about you guys>

i went to an indian casino last year and didnt lose a dime lol, but i didnt play anything either, long story short i see the commercial for this place and it shows some old lady winning like $1000 in quarters and it shows her having a good time while her like 10 yr old granddaughter holding a bucket that catches the quarters,..... so me and my little brother (18 then) took a 4 hour road trip to get to the casino just for the rude ****** at the door to say "no one under 21 allowed in", yes i did know the gambling age of 21 but since they also told me you gotta show em some id to get a prepaid card at the front desk to play (they do it all electronically with a card), i was poed, so i thanked em for wasting my time and gas and told em to f-o and left, i hope to go somewhere else someday after my brothers 21 and see if we cant take the place for what its worth...

Ive always liked blackjack occasionally I will buy in for a game of hold 'em. Never take more than $60 with me.
But I have great luck on the video poker, first time me and a couple friends drove down to an indian casino I put in $40 and was up to $700 in 30 minutes. Cashed out, got up so fast and changed the quarters. Spent the next 4 hours while my friends were still playing watchin the band with beer and a huge smile on my face

Only on the horses but I put that in the "entertainment" budget. I've been going to the races since I was old enough remember and I still love every minute of it.

Casinos are really boring to me for some reason.

I won $8000 a few years ago in AC playing roulette!

I had 2K down on red on one roll of the ball and won! $$$

Edit.....So then I flew home and bought a lift kit and tires! Now I need another 8K for a supercharger!

We all went to Reno for my buddies bachelor party. I got a GEICO refund check that day for 222.56 bucks, so thats all the cash I took. Keep in mind that we were planning on sleeping in the vehicles.

When i arrived, i started playing blackjack, turned 200 bucks into 3,XXX bucks. We then bought a hotel room, which was awesome, had a steam room, tvs that came out of the floor, two hot tubs, free bar, and 3 beds. We then went to a strip club where we spent the rest of the night. The hotel room was 1,000 bucks (tuesday night special). I then continued to buy drinks and lap dances for everyone (including myself). I left the strip club with 20 bucks (enough for the hotel all you can eat breakfast). While we were waiting for the buffet to open, i gambled, turned 20 bucks into 1400 buck in 30 minutes. It was awesome because it was me vs the dealer the whole time and i ended up with a huge crowd of people behind me cheering everytime i would win a hand. Oh yeah, the hotel room was never used for more then us keeping a bookbag in.

Long story short, went to Reno with 200 bucks, got a sweet a$$ hotel room, 9 hours worth of drinks/lap dances for 10 people, breakfeast for 10 people, and walked back into my house with over an 800 dollar profit.

Havent gambled since.

The ol lady and I like to go once every few months. Last time we went she hit just over $600 on the slots which was cool - bought a new snowblower with it

Usually we go knowing that we are going to lose $100 and we have a good time. Sometimes we end up even, more often than not down $20-$50. Not bad for a few hours of entertainment. And yeah, usually it's slots as she doesn't like reg. card games (doesn't understand them no matter what anyone tells her). I don't mind it as it takes longer (meaning, I spend less money lol)
