Teeth Whiteners

Well I finally quit dippin and drinkin cokes so I want to get my teeth back to looking spiffy. I have used crest white strips and I guess they work but they make my teeth really sensitive. Have any of yall tried anything different that works good and doesn't make your teeth hurt?

I'm doing a whitening right now through my dentist, working great, but they are making my teeth a bit sensitive.

I have the trays fitted at the dentist, using the opalescene gell. It works but you have to keep using 1 or 2 times a week. No sensitivity problems for me

You probably aren't going to find one that will not make them sensitive. They make your teeth whiter b/c it takes layers off., (the layers that are stained.) The less layers on your teeth, the more sensitive they are going to be.

You might get used to it, to where it won't hurt as much, but the more you do it, the more sensitive they are going to get.

Just don't use the peroxide method, I read that is why George Washington ended up with a set of whitled wooden choppers.

In between dentist visits, I scrub mine with baking soda and water. It works very well

most off the shelf whiteners use some kind of bleaching agent to whiten. this in turn, hurts the teeth.

have you tried the white strips with sensodyne tooth paste and ACT mouthwash? might help.

I've used the whitestrips and toothpaste with whitening in it. If I use them both for too long my teeth also get sensitive. What I do now is do the strips for a few days, wait, then continue. Same with toothpaste - I can't go day after day of using the whitening.

So far, so good. I haven't done it for a while, but it worked well for me when I did. Hope that helps

why not try the ad at the bottom of the page lol,....... but anyway i get this tube of bleaching stuff from walgreens thats like $7 and it works alright, it comes in either just a tube or a kit with a rubber mouthpiece thing, and after i about choked on the thing i was like fudge that and just got that stuff and another toothbrush just for it and just brush it on and sit for 5 min then rince and that works alright, im gonna start trying the expensive toothpastes though and see how that works...
