I recall hearing about EGR valves sticking on the 6.0. Might help. Might want to also shoot an email or PM to Bill over at PHP. He is has quite a bit of PSD experience and might be able to give a couple of suggestions.

Good Luck

Without codes you're just guessing. I would suspect low fuel pressure. Per Bulletin #19728 for YM 2005, low fuel pressure can be caused by separation of the fuel tank liner. Sometimes it runs and sometimes it won't. But low pressure is what it sounds like. Pull the codes and then you'll know for sure.

if its starts cold and dies when warm its almost certainly a high pressure oil leak. the 6.0 uses HUIE fuel injection which uses high pressure oil to actuate the injectors. if thre is a leak of high pressure oil it does exactly what u are describing and you wont even see the leak as most likely it is internal(pump fitting, injector, branch tube, ect....)

but to be absolutly sure bring it to the local dealer. do not trust any other "mechanics" with a powerstroke as most dont have a clue....or the ability to properly diag and repair.

The first time I opened the hood to our F-450 PSD Ambulance, I almost dropped a brick. Friggin mechanics nightmare
