Cool Daylighter, Mr. Daylighter

Just call me Mr. Daylighter I just got done mounting 4 more KC's. Guess I'll never have a problem seein at night huh? I did figure this out, 385,000 candlepower multiplied by 8 = 3,080,000. That's a lot of power. I'm sorry, I just had to share this, I'm just kinda excited about havin all these lights, you just never see this many lights on newer F150's these days.

Mudder (Mr. Daylighter),

Your lights look great. Can you power both lightbars at once? That must really impressive all light up!!

It reminds me of my '76 f-250 with a meger 1,000,000 watts. I joked about driving on dry roads all winter, the lights were hot enough to melt snow at a 100 yards

The light look cool, nice job. Did you upgrade your altinator, or battery?
I hope you can get some air into the radiator.

do you require both of those welding machines behind the truck for lighting power, or just one

Well thanks for the compliments guys

Fast46triton, it drains it a little bit, you can see the battery gauge drop a little.

redwing, I can power both at once, the ones on my roll bar are on different switches.

Don C, we are still thinkin about upgrading the altinator, but it's not like I'm gonna be runnin all these lights for a long period of time. But I really didn't even think about getting air into the radiator, but it shouldn't be a problem. I'll keep my eyes on the gauges when it gets warmer.

MRBBQMAN, well the pics were taken in my dads shop, he likes to have welding power

Looks good! Now if they could come up with some way to get them to work w/o having to go through the pain in the butt of stopping and taking the covers off and on.

That looks BADA&&!

A friend had an old Jeep that had only two. Out at night, a guy just wouldn't turn off his brights...

The Daylighters went on, the volt gauge dropped, and the other guy had to pull over and stop. hehehe!

I can't imagine eight!

nice lights mudder.

but.....do you have a flashlight in the truck? I buy one every two weeks since I am constantly leaving them places. Maybe KC's are the answer.

ccla,

thanks, when ya get all your lights on you're gonna have to send me a pic. This week I'll get a pic with all the lights on, I've tried before but the lights blur my digital camera too much. I guess I could just video tape it, then download it and put it on here. I'll get something figured out for ya. As for the Baja lights, there just sittin in my shop. I might use them for back up lights, but for now I'm not gonna worry about it.

seacrow,

thanks, I keep a flashlight in my tool box, and I also have a one million candle power spot light that I keep in the back seat. So I'm good to go.

Well here is a pic taken a month ago, I'll take new pics this week, and get the shot of the distance of the lights, how good they light up what ever's in front of me.
