So far I've only seen one other F150 with 4 KC's in the front, and that is on David H's truck, he's the one that gave me the idea to do it. Guess CCLA will be the only other, that I know of.

Not sure if that would work, it's too blinding, it would blur the camera.

Question

Does the Air Force scramble when you go mountain climbing at night? That many lights in the sky would qualify you for their Project Bluebook.

Question

Mudder,

Try standing in the box for a pic shooting behind the lights.(I always liked that look).

Also try off to the side 25' or so at nite with a flash. If its foggy you will get blue beams from each light, the flash will fill in your truck and the background will be black.

Thanks Redwing, I'll definitlely try that. I didn't even think of standing in the bed and lookin over the lights, that's a great idea. I'll try to get in a field or something, to get a shot of the distance that the light covers.

Hey, all you other guys out there with KC's, how do you have them wired? Ignition, or battery? I've got mine to the battery.

Ignition or battery? I think Mudder has his lights hooked up to a really long extension cord!! Actually, I think he's hiding a 20 kw genset in the bed of his truck.

Mudder, I take it the local airport has your pager number just in case their runway lights go out.

Seriously, great looking truck!

BTW, how come you don't have a red truck like the rest of the family?

Question

How was it to install your hidden winch mount, and do you like it. If you could give a owners reveiw of it. I am thinking that way as I removed my winch, while in use.
Any help would be great, my homemade mount was not up to the task.

Bracketracer,

It was easy to install, the instructions called for taking off the bumper, but we got around doin that. It just mounts to the tow hooks. I like it, if it was up to me I'd like to have it out in the open for everyone to see, but that wasn't my call. But overall I like it, it does a good job. It might rub a little when in use on the cross bar, but we'll see when I use it. If you would like to see pics up close, just let me know.

Dennis,

thanks for the compliment, I don't have a red truck because my last truck was red, and I decided it was time for a change. I really wish I had stuck with red, because black is a pain in the butt, as everybody well knows. But now that I'be got my truck fixed up like I want, I really love it, and am happy as could be.
