Question TSB information

Had a question on a TSB that I found on an orange sticker stuck to the back of the tranny pan on my 4R70W transmission. Tried to track it down on the Highway Safety board (of which F150online has a link) and could not find any info on it. TSB 98-4 "expires 8-31-99" Any ideas out there?? Thanks! j.b.

TSB 98-4-12 is applicable only if there is a concern with your 4R70W transmission and expired 8-31-98. I believe these "early concern" tags are used to track new model components or perhaps modifications/updates to existing components.

Angry

Mine had one of those stickers and sure enough at 3,500 miles I had to get the tranny leak fixed.
(Pump Assy was bad)
